ZERO

Zero is the leader of the Maverick Hunters, an army created to destroy any reploid who dares to threat the human beings. Commander of the 0th unit, his name became legend in the 21XX years but it seems like he's linked with the 20XX era by his creator, the mad scientific Dr. Wily. Those years are now only flashbacks on his head. He doesn't remember facts or events of his birthday ... He choosed to live the present and erradicate the maverick pest with the help of his pal X.

Zero can kill any maverick without doubts making him a deadly hunter, but after the war against the Repliforce, the difference between mavericks and non mavericks is not so evident anymore. In that war a lot of his Repliforce friends who weren't proved maverick died on his hands. Nobody knows it but Zero has a big regret on his mind cause he feels that he had a dark side who enjoyed all those deaths. Sigma revealed Zero that he was a Maverick in the past ... and now Zero wonders if he would became a threat for his best friend X, the hunter who once died for and resurrected him.

Claimed as an hero, Zero haven't shown yet his truly and powerful dark side to his partners... He was projected as a master piece of death and destruction ... and now he is the best friend of his natural enemy. Ironic fate. How long he can contain his mortal nature?
